This week, we’re traveling to Galicia! About ten years ago, Laura lived in Galicia for a year, and it is one of her favorite places in the world. There's a magic to the land, the mythology, the music, and the language. I hope I can return and visit, but until I can, I want to dedicate this song to the marvelous people I met in Galicia.
Muiñeiras are a type of traditional dance in Galicia, typically they’d be played by a group of various instruments. We recently learned this tune from Begoña Riobó, an incredible musician from Vigo. Thank you Begoña for teaching this at Stay at Home Festival!

Esta semana, viajamos a Galicia! Hace casi diez años, Laura vivía en Galicia por un año, y es uno de sus lugares favoritos del mundo. Hay una mágica en el paisaje, la mitología, la música, y la lengua del región.
